"Weaving should be fun!"
lovely! one day i hope to find something like this in my price range. the silk moths here likely represent the moths allowed to exit the cocoon for purposes of breeding or also it could be that this depicts some moths that were found inside a fresh reeled cocoon just before emerging and ruining the continuous silk thread. often silkmoths were incorporated into these images of the silk process. the upper insert looks like glimpses into the business-from selling cloth and managing such. can’t see any real details here.
